DESCRIPTION
The Second Edition: Racine Carrée by Stromae
For this second edition, we chose Racine Carrée by Stromae as the supporting album for this audiovisual experience. Known for its major influence on the French-speaking world, Racine Carrée is the perfect album to bring everyone together with its amazing upbeat tempo and incredible lyrical skills. This time, we booked Cinéma J.A. de Sève, known for its high-quality 4K projector, soundproof setting, and theatrical surround sound system. Hearing "Ta Fête" as the intro on those speakers is chilling.
Production
This album is only 45 minutes long. We created 8 micro short films, including an interactive game where users are greeted with a page prompting them to input a one-word answer to a question broadcasted on the screen. The questions revolve around Carmen's theme: social media. Compared to the first edition, we pushed Kinect data to its full potential, allowing us to create an immersive performance for "Quand C'est" (we won't go into detail about how we did it).
We also experimented with deepfakes for "Bâtard", locally trained on my humble NVIDIA GTX 1660. We showcased controversial politicians singing the lyrics to "Bâtard"-pretty self-explanatory.
Again: no AI was used to generate content. Every piece was crafted by hand because we believe real art comes from human effort. Imperfection is what makes something feel alive, and AI strips that away by making everything too precise. The beauty is in the process, the struggle, and the little details that make each piece feel personal.
The Rollout
We involved our people in a commercial inspired by the worlds of HBO's Succession and NBC's The Office. Through a barrage of fast-paced, unrelated questions from reporters, we slowly revealed the album chosen for the next edition of Le Temps d'Écouter. Production took a day.

We’ve officially sold out this second edition. 160 seats filled entirely through organic reach, with no sponsored ads on Instagram or TikTok.
